I am in Budapest at the moment and attended the Ballet La Sylphide at Opera House the other night. Although I was sitting in the Balcony quite a long way from this scene I was able to take a photograph of this delicate moment during the ballet. The black and white image seems to convey gently the softness of the scene. The dancers in the Hungarian National Ballet were incredible in the symmetry and expressiveness of their movements.
Commentary on photography, and my current photographic projects. I published the book, A Room in the City, Anvil Press 2010 and operate a photographic studio and gallery in New Westminster, BC. Currently working on a documentary film on aging drug addicts, No Way Out.

I have been a big fan of ballett and very interested in watching performances from different corner of the world. It is important to note that each culture has a different style
