Pile up at the Nemiah Rodeo Mountain Race

The Nemiah Rodeo in the Chilcotin is famous for its mountain race.  A group of up to five native Indian riders race down a mountain at break neck speed across several creeks to the finish line in the rodeo arena.  The last creek is usually full of mud and this year the muddy creek took its toll on the fast moving riders.  Several were injured including one contestant losing his eye.  The horses survived and will race another day.  Olympus OMD - 75-300mm.
