I attended the vigil for Jack Layton at the Vancouver Art Gallery. It was moving and emotional--but above all I was intrigued by Jack's last and final letter to Canadians, excerpts of which were spread across the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery--a letter of hope and of excitement despite his immanent death. This photograph of a man beside the steps of the gallery was taken with the Olympus EP3 and 12mm f2 lens.
